This is How to Figure Out What You Really Want in a Romantic Partner

Recently, I’ve been thinking that I maybe I don’t know what I want in a relationship. I’ve had so many different types with all sorts of people & there are things I loved about them all. How do I choose?

When I stopped asking questions, moving out of the frequency of confusion, & into the frequency of knowing, it became clear.

I don’t define my relationship in traditional terms because I am not a traditional person.

I do have some traditional preferences though. In addition to my momma, I was raised by my grandmother & 2 great-aunts. They didn’t play around.

What I desire in a relationship is based on

💞my learning style

😘a few other things

Do I expect my partner(s) [I’m choosing not to limit myself] to fit all of my desires?

Hell yes!

I want what I want & I love myself enough to know that I will have it & I deserve it.

So stop asking yourself what do I want in a relationship & start paying attention to

❤️what you fantasize about

❤️what you daydream about

❤️& who you’re attracted to [not just sexually]

If you constantly fantasize about having threesomes, then maybe don’t seek out a monogamous relationship.

Do you hate reading? Then your partner needs to be a talker, not a writer.

Do you daydream about you & your partner traveling the world? Then go for the adventurous one & not the homebody.

When you approach it this way, it gets real simple. It’s not reinventing the wheel. It’s seeing where the wheel is rolling & going with the flow.
